Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaBooking.com didn’t offer any ocean view options, and the elevator wait times could be frustrating, especially during peak hours with heavy foot traffic. The higher your floor, the longer the wait, as the elevator stops at every level during busy times. However, it wasn’t overly bothersome.
I definitely think it was worth the price. The only downside was that Booking.com didn’t offer any ocean view options, but we were lucky enough to get upgraded, and the view was incredible! The location isn’t right in the heart of Waikiki, but it's just a 15-20 minute walk to the shopping strip. Personally, I preferred it this way—it’s quieter, but still right next door to the Hilton Waikiki Village, where you can swim in their lagoon and enjoy the excitement. Don't get me wrong, it isn't the best hotel I've ever stayed at, but for the price, the location, room size, cleanliness, it is worth it. You don't find many places with good locations in Honolulu that are reasonably priced.

United StatesCorners weren't clean. Places like behind bathroom door, shower spigot handle, tops of baseboards not clean.
We really like the full kitchen and separate seating area. Location was convenient, near beach and central to city.

United KingdomProperty was quite dated the shops inside the hotel were expensive, the car hire lady at hertz was very unhelpful and seemed uninterested in helping us. Room service was every 4 days and not daily and even after 4 days only towels were changed not bed linens! Hawaii in general has become very expensive compared to when we visited 10years ago as much as i loved it I wouldn’t be returning anytime soon the inflation was unreal!
Very nice big spacious hotel and room, staff were friendly and welcoming was close to the beach and had alot of shops on the resort which was convenient. Had a easy check in and out experience we arrived late at night and explained this to the staff a day before by phone and they arranged for us to get our room by the security team which was helpful. Rooms were clean we had a enjoyable stay.

United StatesDidn't care for the parking lot situation. The self parking is next to another hotel. Once you find where to park and how to take a shortcut to get to and from the garage it's not too inconvenient.
Location is good. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. I enjoyed the room and kitchenette.

AustraliaIf we stayed here again we would like to be on beach side, we were on road side and it was very noisy, we couldnt have the balcony doors open as it was so so noisy. We had to wait a long time at the service desk each time we went there, even just for beach towels.
The rooms were a generous size and the location was fabulous. Nice to have a kitchenette in the room as well. The nearby beaches were beautiful and Ala Moana shopping centre was within walking distance.

New ZealandVery noisy air conditioner in our room.
Great location next to Hilton Hawaiian Village, so easy access to HHV's lagoon and beach. Free hula show on Fridays followed by fireworks. There's a convenience store, a couple of cafes, poke and ice cream shops on the ground floor as well as a restaurant on level 30 with great views. Our room was Berry spacious and had a kitchen which was a bonus.

CanadaThis resort was perfect. We arrived from a 16 day cruise and took the local bus. We arrived at 8:30 Am and although we were advised they could hold our luggage we were surprised by being able to check into our room right away. This was a big bonus. The room was basically a nice studio with full kitchen facilities. On Friday night they had a little show followed by the fireworks. The location of the hotel is perfect especially if you want to get around by public transport as the bus stop is right outside. We used this to travel all around the island. to get to excursion locations.
