Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesRoom was a bit dated, but it was part of the charm of staying in an old building - and generally was clean.
Quaint and well located on the Main Street. The stay comes with a pace to the wellness center at Loon Mountain which is a short drive away and is a great addition. There is a gym, indoor and outdoor pool, spa, racquetball court, etc. That was really nice.

United StatesThe only thing I would say that was a little disappointing was the room was on a slight slant. The building is older (although you can't tell from the looks of it) therefore there is a slight lean to the room. If you slept on the right side of the bed you felt as if you would roll right off! Walking from the front of the room to the back felt as if you were walking uphill.
We wanted to attend the Sculptured Sand exhibit in Woodstock so I poked around on booking.com and found this. We were pleasantly surprised with the ease to find the location and loved the fact that we could eat and drink within walking distance! We discovered a breathtaking deck over the river that we spent several hours each day reading, drinking coffee and simply listening to the rolling river! The breakfast that is included with the room is a 5 course breakfast like you've never seen!!! Mostly all of the staff were warm and welcoming. This location is a great spot for a quick getaway for a few days without the need to go anywhere else once you arrive. You can eat, shop and drink all in 1 street block! (sculpturedsand.com)

United StatesHooks to hang clothing.
Wonderful Inn to stay, close to hiking/climbing trails/White Mountains and surrounded by bubbling brooks!! Quick on and off 93N. Excellent breakfast each morning, full restaurant and bar. We stayed at Woodstock Inn, Riverside (quick walk across the street to main Inn). Our room had a comfortable small sitting room, refrigerator, and private bedroom but had no hooks or closet to hang clothing. Ample free ice. We celebrated our anniversary eating on the Lafayette Train, a must do while you are there.

United StatesWe weren't sure where to check in for hotel. Went in through one door and wandered down the hallway, finally ended up in restaurant/bar area. Young lady at desk there steered us back down the hall to check in desk. There were no signs out front that we noticed to distinguish hotel from restaurant.
We had a room in a house across from the Inn, very quiet. Hot breakfast was delicious, even better it came free with room. Restaurant food & beer very good.

AustraliaTired shabby and badly needs a renovation. Walls paper thin could hear the guy next door snoring. No hanging space not a hanger chest of drawers filled with bedding. Bulky furniture taking up all the space. Stained carpets and peeling wallpaper.

United KingdomThe room was in a separate building across the street, the building was old and consequently the room was dated and smaller than expected. Although everything worked within the room (had a good shower) the wallpaper was hanging off the walls in places. The walls were thin and you could hear every sound from other rooms, on the same floor and from the room above also. The ice machine in the hall was very loud and the lock on the front door to the main building didn’t work properly and the door was often left open.
The staff and atmosphere in the bar/pub was great, the quality of the food was excellent. We had both evening meal and breakfast there and everything we ate was delicious, large portions! Located well within the White Mountains.

United StatesThe bed was very hard. It was fortunate that we only stayed 3 nights because it was very painful waking every morning, or actually getting through a nights rest. We were in the Cascade Lodge, and the main entrances to the building, both front doors and the rear entrance do not lock, the rear entrance doesn't even latch so the only security between you and anyone walking in from the street at any hour of the night or early morning is your room door lock, not very secure. Everything was relatively clean and orderly however there was mold in the bottom edging of the shower enclosure and ceiling that needs to be addressed. The room was very small, had this been say $100 or less a night room it would have been somewhat reasonable, however for the price of $222 a night, not what was expected.
The breakfast was good. All meals at the restaurant were good and of good value. The staff in the restaurant and hotel check in were very friendly.
