The location is so quiet and the hotel has a big exterior area where to relax. It face on a lake. All the area are spacious, bar has great sofas. This meant we could not use it for breakfast or meals/drinks, but Ryan the landlord went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We had a room in the loft (apparently this was an upgrade). Room very hot but excellent aircon. Bathroom on one level and bedroom up a steep set of stairs. When we saw the age of the other guests I can see how we were offered an upgrade! (ageism- sorry). The place is huge with a lovely sunny rear garden. The room looked out onto an immaculate garden and veg plot, complete with scarecrow. The breakfast was lovely and the staff attentive and friendly.
