Boasting a garden, a seasonal outdoor pool and mountain views, St Leonards Vineyard Cottages is situated in Blenheim.

Aside from the accommodation itself, the suggested dine-in meals that can be ordered an delivered to the room were surprisingly good. It was not salty yet very flavourful. The hosts were thoughtful in every aspect - from the respect to nature (reflected in choice of products used, for example, to picking up some home grown walnuts for us to taste after we mentioned that we wanted to look at the walnut tree.

We were driving up from Christchurch for a funeral and I had arranged an early check in. When we arrived our room wasn't ready but the lovely host upgraded us to a huge apartment and let us in at 9.30am, which was great. The next day as it was a frost he came out and put water all over our car windows. Such a pleasure.

Absolutely gorgeous boutique hotel. Great fun to stay at for a variety of reasons -- the theme(s), care in detail, fun bar, really lovely staff. Fabulous location, very comfortable bed, excellent shower pressure in shower! Super great employee also let me keep my bag in the office while I waited for my bus for a few hours!

Lovely large room with ensuite spa bath and nice sunlit balcony looking over the river - Waterfront. Very pleasant and relaxing, For a good meal and pleasant company the local Pub at 50mtrs was handy and the food excellent. Free snacks for the locals which we were invited to partake of, just made the evening.

Dave and Colleen were such lovely owners/hosts, we really enjoyed our stay with them. They took the time to chat with us and give us local recommendations. Milk was provided and they upgraded our room as it was our honeymoon which was lovely. Beds were comfy, room was spacious, parking was right outside the door.

Got a bonus upgrade, with a spa bath, etc. which made our stay just amazing. We loved the space in each room, the layout and the detail of a good size table and a spacious relaxing area. We will recommend this to anyone and will definitely be back. Thank you so much for giving us a lovely time away. A++
