Enjoyed the scenery and the game near the water. The Spa was very good. And the food okay, some dishes much better than others. Breakfast fairly mediocre.
Located 10 minutes' drive from Oudtshoorn, AfriCamps Klein Karoo is a set on a working ostrich farm.

Very spacious tent and great location right by the watering hole, although we didn't see any animals unfortunately. Comfortable with everything you need. Kids were very happy with the play area and running around outside. Great concept.

Cozy place. Well kept. Clean. Breakfast was very good. The host, Jerry, really looked after us. All amenities available. We did not go out, but were told a lot of eating places in walking distance. Private car parking available. It was a cold night. In the room, there was an electric blanket. So thoughtful. Had a comfortable 1 night. Jerry gave us a late check out. As we had gone for a very very early morning, Meerkat viewing.

I was rather nervous to be traveling on my own and I was blown away by La Pension. Venita was so welcoming and went out of her way to make my stay happy and comfortable. As an animal lover, it was incredible to have her beautiful fur babies around. The welcome glass of wine with Venita just gave the whole experience that extra sparkle. I will definitely be back. Thank you to everyone at La Pension! xxx

Breathe Accommodation is the perfect stay if you’re looking for a solitary getaway. The cabin was clean and well equipped for two people. My partner and I had a lovely time walking on the farm, seeing the lambs, bird watching and making cosy fires inside and outside. The owners are lovely and make you feel very at home. It’s about an hour from Oudtshoorn, so perfect for a day trip to the Cango Caves or just into town.
Every thing: we stayed as we had our little dog with us : it’s like being a guest in a beautiful home : amazing people that own this place and staff were wonderful: really relaxing easy to unwind and lovely bedrooms
Feather Nest, is a quiet and well equipped apartment. The view over the trees are beautiful and the big porch is a lovely space to relax. The shower warms up quickly and th decor is beautiful!
A very well laid out property, lots of space to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere. The restaurant was excellent and very family friendly. The rooms were very spacious and well equipped with a lovely balcony. Very near lots of activities to do during the day or if you prefer, relax by one of the three pools!
An excellent stay in a beautiful property with a delightful garden and pool. Venita and Errol are the perfect hosts and made the stay very enjoyable and relaxing. Their recommendations and suggestions were very much appreciated and the SA v Wales rugby chat with Errol was great. Lovely breakfast. An unexpected added bonus to the stay was the opportunity for a Yoga / Thai Massage with Nikita. Excellent secure parking.
Stayed 2 nights in a beautiful 'glamping' luxury tent at this resort. My view was a bunch of young ostriches all the time drinking water from the stream and relaxing. Really great! I also really enjoyed the dinners and breakfast.
This was our second visit at Old Mill Lodge. Beautiful farm. Lovely staff. Delicious breakfast.
You can really just relax and unwind.
I made an honest mistake with my booking but George very efficiently resolved the issue for us and we are so thankful for that.
We love Old Mill and with definitely visit again.
The host contacted us en route with directions and advice for timings etc I et the Swartberg Pass. He was most particular and attentive. The place is lovely, well maintained, clean and thoughtfully furnished. We wished we could have stayed longer. The pool is small but clean and with a big deck surround so very functional, sunny and a nice relaxing touch after a long drive.
A lovely concept for a quiet retreat on a wine farm. A lot of thought and care had gone into the decor of the rooms which are beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the outdoor bath and shower, sadly the bad weather meant we couldn’t use the pool. Lots of nice little touches like the bottle of wine on arrival, bath bombs, slippers, candles etc. we ate in the restaurant which was also delicious!
