A regular bedroom in a private home, spotlessly clean, private bathroom a few steps down the hallway, quiet, cosy and safe. I met Roger for a few short minutes upon arrival and he was the perfect gentleman. Everything was very well thought-out, and I had everything I needed. Taxi to the airport was cheap - around 8GBP. It was all nicely decorated. Our room was super spacious and comfy with an air of luxury. Lots of lovely little touches like robes in the bathroom, wine glasses and nuts on the tea caddy. We had a fabulous sleep. Breakfast was great even though there was no cooked breakfast and only a small portion of the usual continental- what was there was delicious. There is plenty of parking onsite, either in the pub's general car park or closer to the studio apartment. The staff were very pleasant at check-in and check-out. The apartment was extremely spacious, in a separate building from the pub. We stayed in the upstairs 2 bedroom apartment with lounge, kitchen and one bathroom.
