Located in Cádiz, 0.6 mi from Playa de la Caleta, Casual Duende Cádiz provides air-conditioned accommodations and a terrace.

We had a wonderful time! We only stayed one night but we would definitely stay again! This is a small, friendly hotel in the heat of Cadiz. We stayed in 401, it’s in the tower and it was fantastic! The room has a small terrace and the most amazing views over the city. It felt like our own personal castle. The desk staff were so nice and we were able to leave our bags before and after check in/check out. Location is great, 15 minutes walk from the train station, close to the market, beach, many shops and restaurants. I would definitely recommend!

Boutique Hotel Casa Cánovas, hotel in Cádiz

Featuring a terrace, a restaurant as well as a bar, Boutique Hotel Casa Cánovas is located in the center of Cádiz, a 13-minute walk from La Caleta Beach.

Wonderful stay at this boutique hotel. Only 10 rooms and very well designed, including a rooftop area to sit outside, a library downstairs, and a restaurant next door with the same branding. Ate breakfast and dinner there and it was very good. The toiletries were devine and quite unique. Conveniently located in the old town and you can walk everywhere. They recommended a parking garage that is 5 minutes from the hotel. Would highly recommend!

FAQs about hotels in Cádiz

Spain’s Oldest Jewel

Cádiz might be a small strip of land, but being the oldest inhabited city in Spain, it means that it’s covered with monuments from different ages and cultures. Beautiful sandy beaches kissed by crystalline waters are also part of its magic, while you won’t be able to forget that you’re in Andalusia, land of music and passion.

Founded by Phoenicians, it had Greek, Roman, Arab and Visigoth influence, and the Age of Discoveries reclaimed its fame as port city. It became a cosmopolitan centre of commerce, enriching a heritage still visible in its historic centre. Don’t miss its narrow streets, colourful squares, the Roman theatre, and the imposing and eclectic Cathedral. Some of the most unique hotels in Cádiz are located in the Old Town.

The newer districts include wide avenues and contemporary buildings. These are the areas of Cádiz with a larger offering of modern hotels on the beach and apartments for rent. Restaurants and cafés serving great local, Andalusian and Spanish specialities are also easy to find.

The railway stations of Estadio, Segunda Aguada, and Central link the city with the rest of the country, while the nearby Jerez Airport is 47 km away. If thinking of visiting southern Spain, check out the Cádiz accommodation deals on Booking.com!

Cadiz is a beautiful city, among the oldest in Europe. The people are very friendly and the views are stunning. We visited here after visiting Madrid and it was a breath of fresh air. Beautiful narrow streets without the crowds. The market is a great place to sample the local seafood. The train station is a short walk to the town center and from there, you can visit nearby Jerez, Cordoba or Seville. There are also beautiful beaches.

Cadiz is lovely, first impression I thought it was a bit tired and run down but the more I saw the more I loved it. It really has everything, beautiful beaches, a fabulous old town, and lots of sights to see. Great cafe culture. Better for the more mature traveller which suited us fine. No music blasting out or nightclubs that I was aware of. Very authentic Spain. The city is vast but has a very good transport network.

just the right size for walking about with lovely scenery, loads of shops, cafes, bars etc just a pain to get to from Seville - do thorough research on exactly how you are getting from A to B and when - you can't just turn up and get on a train they get full and 'sold out' and are not that frequent.

This is a wonderful place; we never ventured outside of the old town - why would you. Yes there are tourist traps a plenty for the cruise ships etc but with a little thought one can easily find very authentic traditional places to eat and drink with wonderful friendly staff. The Roman theatre is a MUST see.

This is a cozy, clean apartment in Old Town Cadiz. It is about a 10 minute walk to the cathedral and even less to the water. The kitchen is well stocked, the bedroom felt spacious and there was always plenty of hot water. The host was super with communication via WhatsApp and in person through google translate. They offered a garage spot for 10€ a day as well. The kitchen was stocked with treats: water, wine, amazing bread, cookies, fruit and more! And the price was so reasonable. Terrific value.

Since the hotel has 1 star on Booking, my expectations were somehow modest, but I could not have been more wrong! The hotel is amazing, worth 4 stars! The receptionist took care of a warm welcome and recommended what to see and where to eat in Cadiz. The room was spaceous, comfortable, well-equipped and perfectly clean - a very good value for money. The breakfast was delicious, something for every taste. A reasonably priced parking is located nearby, jusy a few minutes walk.

Carmen that runs the Hotel is the perfect host, taking care of us and giving Expert reccomendations. Also, she was very friendly with a contagious good mood and also very service minded.
