Splendid welcoming helpful hosts. All home baked bread + granola and jams and fresh on site eggs were beautiful. Peaceful bushland with lawns running straight onto the sandy foreshore of the Gippsland Lakes. Canoes and bikes to use as req'd. No neighbours to be seen. Hard to leave with tame birds and such peaceful quiet bushland setting for endless walks. The interior was very homey and practical.

    The room was quiet and very well maintained. We called in advance to say we were arriving late. We got a to a room that was spacious and the heater running to make for a cozy arrival. The kitchenette facilities were awesome! Bed comfy and a great shower. The room felt homely and welcoming.

    Bathroom facilities were in great condition, kitchenette and bathroom well stocked. No traffic or fellow guest noise, a very quiet peaceful stay. Excellent shower! Bed and pillows were great and that's one thing I notice especially comfortable pillows (and soft toilet paper!)

    There was plenty of room with a small kitchenette and sink. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. Shower pressure was great. Walking distance to most things.

    This is a simple motel which is very clean and comfortable. Fridge, kettle, cutlery, crockery, tea, Nescafe were provided. Very good for a stoppover or even 2 nights if you look for something not too pricey but solid. There is a BBQ place with an electric BBQ (as often in Australia), and an extra microwave in a kitchen.

    Hotel was situated in a very quiet location so didn't hear much road traffic. Bed was quite comfy as were the pillows. Bed linen and towels very clean. Breakfast was continental style and sufficient. Kitchen staff very helpful as was young girl on reception. Good location for evening dining.
