Simon's Cosy House, a property with a garden and a terrace, is located in Bangor, 20 km from SSE Arena, 20 km from Titanic Belfast, as well as 21 km from The Waterfront Hall.

House was like a perfect home from home, with every consideration for our stay. We happened to turn up at the station just before an earlier train was due, so took the chance of jumping on. This meant we were a little earlier arriving at the house and were quite prepared to just go head on for breakfast if Simon wasn't there yet. Lovely surprise (for us, possibly not for the host) was he was unexpectedly there and just finishing watering plants. Simon was very gracious and made us feel welcome, showing us where the key needed to but left on us leaving. As well as giving a quick run through of how the heating worked. There were lovely touches throughout like milk, orange juice, butter, tea, coffee, cereals & pasta/sauces that were left for our use if needed. Very relaxing garden & external dinning area that was ideal for the great weather... plus the added bonus of a games shed, complete with air hockey table & small toys (even a small plastic slide down the back) for smaller kids. I wasn't great at the air hockey, but put that down to us not being able to work out how to turn the air system on for it :D Excellent location too, less than 5 minutes for the train/bus station, high street and about 15 minutes away from the marina, Bangor Castle gardens & museum. Definitiely first place we will look at to stay if we make a return trip to Bangor or surrounding areas.

The host had a very thoughtful welcome pack. It included enough food for snacks and breakfast, as well as jams, butter and milk. In my opinion it was outstanding, very welcome after travelling.

    It was great to stay in this house for 2 nights. It is centrally located in Bangor with town centre and beach within walking distance. Free car park outside the house and there is a big supermarket for grocery. Beds are comfortable and kitchen is well functioning, even with cutleries! The house is clean and well-decorated and we loved the details. Angela and Rachel were very helpful with enquiries.

    Lovely warm welcoming from Berny. Room was cosy, exactly what we needed after being caught in the rain! Guest kitchen was well stocked for breakfast and a great plus for those like myself who prefer self catering! Berny offered us a lift to the shops as it was raining heavily most of the evening. Was lovely to meet Ann in the morning. The hosts really make this place a home from home.
