You share a sitting room, communal toilet and shower on the ground floor and a kitchen you can use to cook. Once you have stayed here once and know how it works it's all good. Cottage is separate and private, yet near main house, so not isolated. Landlord was friendly and helpful. Loved the opening skylights for fresh air and the shades to darken for early morning light.
