    The cottage is comfortable clean well laid out with 2 bedrooms lounge dining room kitchen and bathroom, the garden is colourful and nice private court yard to the rear There is everything you need in the town which is a 2 minute walk away yet it is in a quiet area.     Everything was provided for our stay. It was a home away from home including a full kitchen. We had a view to the castle from our studio and enjoyed the gardens and grounds which was included. Staff were very helpful. If wanting to view inside castle check tour dates as it's only selected dates.

    It was a self catering accommodation the property was in a stunning location if you like peace and quiet. It was ideal for the dog as it had an enclosed garden the views were fantastic and there were plenty of walks from the property, with the Castle to visit as a bonus.|

    Generosity sized for a studio - it's more like an apartment without a living room. High quality kit & furniture. The best equipped kitchen I've ever seen for a self-catering establishment. Friendly staff if you need anything.

    Fully equipped kitchen, hot water and powerful shower. Clean throughout. Options for central heating or log burner. Private enclosed rear garden which would be a sun trap in the sunny weather. Off road parking. Host was very friendly and responsive to messages before our visit. Great location to explore South West Scotland. Definitely stay again.

    Beautiful location. Spacious apartment, with comfortable bed, and well equiped kitchen. Were able to take our dog. Although we didnt meet the staff, they had gone out of their way to obtain afternoon tea for our daughter as a surprise gift, very thoughtful. Quiet location with loads of walks. Had a lovely stay.
