Het Lifestyle Hotel Mátra is geopend in 2012 en beschikt over luxe kamers met gratis WiFi, 2 binnenzwembaden en een sparuimte van 1200 m², verdeeld over 2 verdiepingen. De omgeving was zeer mooi. Hertje en vos kwamen tot aan het hotel. Zwembad was proper en warm.

The location of the hotel in the middle of wineyards behind the village offers real touch of nature and quiet. The hotel is new, well equipped and very comfortable. Suitable for both business stay and leisure. Check in was very fast and was personally acompanied to the room. Room was spacy enough with sufficient lightening, good wi-fi coverage and comfortably furnished. Breakfast offers reasonable and tasty buffe selection. Parking place for hotel guests available.

Fehérkőlápa Turistaház Panzió bevindt zich in Lillafüred, op 14 km van Nationaal Park Bükki, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Istvan (I am sorry if I have spelled this incorrectly) and his wife are wonderful hosts. They are kind and generous and nothing is too much for them. The food is home cooked. We stayed for 6 nights and had the pleasure of trying a variety of traditional Hungarian meals. My favourites were the venison goulash and the bean goulash. My daughter is a little fussy and so Istvan learned the English for asking what her favourite food was and she had pizza the next day! Istvan's English is good and he uses a translator app for anything he is unsure of and so communication is good. The hotel is at the end of a three and a half km track, on top of a forested hill. It is beautifully isolated. There are many labelled trails around the hill and you can walk down a steep path into the village of Lillafured. If you visit the tourist centre in the village you can get a free map showing all the trails. There is also a cable car, which can take you up and down the hill. This is the only public transport to the hotel as taxis will not take you down the track. We did not have a car, as didn't another couple there. They used the cable car to get to the hotel and Istvan kindly picked us up from the bus stop. Walking down the hill when we left was fairly easy, but walking up, with bags, would be difficult. Unfortunately, I broke my arm, whilst out walking. Istvan insisted on organising for his friends, Veda and David to take me to the hospital. They waited with me all day and brought me back with a Hungarian souvenir plaster cast. I am indebted to them all. Despite this mishap we had a very enjoyable stay and I fully recommend it.

Selfness Hotel Vadvirág Mátraszentimre is gelegen in Mátraszentimre, en heeft een bar. De accommodatie biedt een restaurant en heeft ook een gedeelde lounge, een sauna en een hot tub. I can feel staff are trying to helpl and really friendly but they dont speak english which makes complicated in communication. Like i dont know what is included and what is charged even though i can feel they are honest but just i dont understand what was charged. Also i left message no need for dinner in room on my arrival day, i guess they are nice or dont understand my message, they still put dinner in my room and was wasted. I appreciate the gesture, but just check the message and that is not neccessary. No harsh feeling, just totally can be avoid misunderstanding

Hotel Narád heeft een gedeelde lounge, een terras, een restaurant en een bar in Mátraszentimre. Nice resort with hot springs, a pool, and a gym — though the facilities are a bit dated. Nothing beats a hot soak after skiing. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. All in all, worth a stay!

Margaréta Panzió bevindt zich in Sárospatak, op 29 km van Zemplin Castle, en biedt accommodatie met gratis fietsen, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een terras. Hosts were friendly and helpful, the place was neat and clean, there was private parking in the yard behind closed gates. They paid attention to details such as towel folding and little chocolate on pillow. We don't drink coffee but there was a nice coffee machine and overall a well equipped kitchen.

Hotel Ózon & Luxury Villas is a 4-star superior hotel set in the Mátra mountain range, surrounded by the Mátra National Preserve. Friendly staff, excellent location, indoor/outdoor pools and many activities around.
