Laura and Andreas have setup the cottage, so when you open the front door you immediately feel at home. It’s got everything you need in the kitchen to self cater, a washing machine, lovely bathroom/shower, private garden and outdoor seating area. The bed was very comfortable and the bed linen a very nice quality. Parking outside the front door was great and the location was perfect for our stay. Thank you Laura and Andreas.

There was NO breakfast provided or included?? One had to walk for 10 minutes to get the bus. The property is good and host was equally good.

I cannot recommend this property highly enough - it is simply fantastic. Large comfortable living room / diner, beautiful bathroom / shower room and very comfortable bedroom. Located in a very quiet neighbourhood, I would loved to have tried the outdoor swimming pool but I had a busy schedule at the Messe Dusseldorf Trade Fair and it rained throughout my stay. Easy access by train / bus / taxi into Dusseldorf (15 minutes away). Owner Jan was very kind and really welcoming. Forget about hotels for your Dusseldorf stay, Haus am See is simply a must!

Very nice experience in this Villa, everything you need to stay for a long time period, I have even found aspirin when I needed one… Appliances are great, forest behind is apsolutely amazing and hole neighborhood is very quiet and ideal for relax. All recommendations for this property! Hope I will use it again!
