We stayed for 6 nights and had the most amazing time. Pedro and the team are so tentative and observant and do all in their power to make your stay wonderful. The care for details are extraordinary. Super good food (vegetables are homegrown and organic), wonderful location, atmosphere and facilities. The pictures don’t do this place justice. We travelled with an 8 month old baby and Pedro and the team did so many nice things for us to have a good time as a family.

Situated in Peso da Régua, 4.2 km from Douro Museum and 10 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary, Quinta do Valdalágea features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a garden and a shared... The views from the room were gorgeous, overlooking the river and rolling hills of vineyards. In the morning, we were treated to an amazing breakfast- the son represented Portugal in competition for young chefs. It’s a feast for senses.

Casa de Campo das Sécias is located in Vilas Boas, which a part of popular Vila Flor. Host very helpful in allowing me to use her printer to print boarding passes. Breakfast was not just the standard continental bread and coffee, but included fruit, cereals, range of breads and toast and condiments and cheeses, fruit juice and tea/coffee. Room was large. Area is very quiet.
