Location is perfect for visiting Cornell, and room is very nice. I stayed in the top floor, and I prefer my stay here compared to previous stays at the Statler hotel or downtown Hilton. And much cheaper than Statler hotel on campus. But the service is lacking and no breakfast was available- which I don’t need as I prefer to go to college town bagel for breakfast, and so on. Reminds me my old days at Cornell, when I climbed up the little hill to get to the classroom every morning from the west campus. But if one needs conventional convenience of business hotel, this is not for you…

I liked the personalized treatment, which started from the moment I entered. When I gave my name when checking in, I was greeted with, “Welcome. You’re coming up from Maryland!” The rest of my stay was just as pleasant. It reminded me of the friendly and efficient service that companies like Disney Cruise Line shows their customers. I also want to give a shoutout to the Valet staff—they were always super fast.

I love exploring what Ithaca and the surrounding area has to offer every time I go to visit family who is going to school in Ithaca. I love outdoor activities and find there is plenty to keep me occupied with hikes, waterfalls, and the lake.

Ithaca was fantastic.
Ithaca was fantastic. I enjoyed shopping but when I got to Country Inn and Suites the pool was defunct and the sofa bed was filthy and unchanged from the previous guest. They would offer no discount for the defunct pool.

Ithica is all about Cornell University.
Ithica is all about Cornell University. Downtown Ithica has a pedestrian area known as The Commons with many shops and restaurants. Ithica is a hilly town with very steep streets. As a result there are two significant and scenic gorges that have hiking trails and waterfalls. The downtown area is flat. Parking on streets and in garages is free on weekends otherwise it is all paid parking. Parking on the Cornell campus is by permit only except in parking garages. The Cornell campus is very scenic. We dined at Collegetown Bagels, Trillium cafeteria on campus, Ithica Brewery, Maru Raman, and Yellow Deli. We enjoyed them all.

It is not the first time I have used this accommodation, although it is an old place, it was always clean, but this time as soon as I entered the room the smell of a dirty bathroom was unbearable. I tried opening windows and turning on the air, but nothing changed, I realized that the toilet was dirty with ease, I had to go ask to change my room and the second room did not smell like the first, but It did need more cleanliness in the bathroom and when I got up I found a cockroach walking around the bathroom. I feel sad can not return to this accommodation because it was very convenient for me, close to my son's school and close to almost everything

Parks, landscape and waterfalls are beautiful, too many to chose from for a short visit (we will go back)
Also worth a walk through the grounds of Cornell

Rodeway Inn is nice enough. The room was very clean, spacious, and everything seemed relatively new inside. It's not fancy by any means, but that's why I think the price point is a little high for a roadside motel. That being said, the prices of everything are high these days, so maybe this is just what even lower-end rooms cost now. I would definitely stay there if all of the major hotels in Ithaca are booked. Unlike its sister Choice Hotel properties which I've heard are horrific, Rodeway Inn is pleasant.
hotel was in the perfect location. we traveled to see the state parks with our dog and couldn’t be happier with this choice. front desk and staff were very friendly and accommodating we booked a king pet friendly room and it wasn’t available when we got there so we were given a queen suite for the same price , room had two queen beds a fridge and microwave were very convenient for us the hotel was clean and the breakfast was excellent I highly recommend for a budget friendly , dog friendly stay
Our Cornell grad student recommended Argos from her visits to its lively bar. The location was very convenient to her apartment and the Ithaca Commons businesses. Overnight guests have dedicated parking spaces in the Argos lot. We took frequent advantage of the excellent espresso machine. The design and decor (both interior and exterior) is charming. Loved the large, bright and airy bathroom. I’ve stayed in two upscale modern hotels in Ithaca but really enjoyed Argos!
The outside seating; stone fireplace; fire pits and adirondacks; landscaping; view of the lake - absolutely outstanding. The property is fantastic, and close enough to Ithaca if you are in the area for a college or university event. The breakfast was better than I expected; the room spacious and clean. No televisions, but that was no bother to me. Bed was very comfortable. I will certainly stay again and I recommend it highly.
I liked that both the indoor and outdoor pools were open good hours and were clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The continental breakfast was appealing and very tasty. Our son and grandsons joined us for breakfast one morning and the staff was very accomodating. There were a few tour buses overnight one night and the hotel was still fairly quiet. The location was perfect for the event we were attending that weekend.
I liked the fact that the hotel was pet friendly. Being able to travel with our beloved dog on our way to help our youngest son gets settled physically before he engages into his dream of becoming a veterinarian and thus studying at Cornell was invaluable for both the parents and vet student….
We have stayed at this hotel for many trips on the way to Toronto, but unfortunately we won't anymore because we have a new dog and they charge a non-refundable $100-$150 dollar pet fee. More than we would like to pay and our dog is definitely going to join us. Too bad. Oh well.
The room is well equipt, very good breakfast includind ehgs, waffel, salad, fruits, yogurt, cirials atc. There was an additional free 17:00-19:00 nice meal.
Very nice hotel for families travelling Ithaca area.
The main bed was comfortable.
Looks like hotel was updated since last visit.
Rooms were clean, nothing fancy.
Staff was friendly.
Closest hotel to Cornell. Conveniently located next to Collegetown Bagels, P&C Fresh super market & Agava restaurant.
After a day of college move-out, this hotel offered comfort, convenience and cleanliness; spacious rooms, quiet environment and in the heart of Ithaca. Also noted: exceptionally friendly and helpful staff.
I’m not exaggerating, this is a great hotel in Ithaca area. The host, Robert, is a great guy and he will make sure everything you needed is available. Feels like a luxury dorm.
Clean hotel an room. Easy parking. Room as expected. Breakfast as expected from Holiday Inn. In general I'm preferring to stay in Holiday Inns hotels than other main chains.
Great location. Designed principally as a summer resort, we stayed one night on route from Toronto to New York City. It was a perfect overnight stop close to Ithaca.
