Situated in Bloomsbury in London's West End, The Academy - Small Luxury Hotels of the World comprises a collection of five Georgian townhouses combined into one hotel. I absolutely loved this little quirky hotel. The rooms were a bit dated but very cute and had everything that was described in the booking details including a free mini bar with soft drinks and water and these were replaced each day. The rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. The hotel bar was small but nice and the outside garden terrace had good furniture and hot lamps which were great as we were there in December. The staff were amazing and so helpful nothing was too much to ask.

Svítan er í aðeins 100 metra fjarlægð frá British Museum og í innan við 10 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Covent Garden og Soho. The staffs are extremely friendly; the room is tidy and big enough. The bed is quite comfortable as well. We love the breakfast, too. It offers good variety in small portions, so you can try different ones without overstuffing yourself. Last but not least, the hotel location is simply outstanding. It's close to the British Museum (although we couldn't visit due to the strike), shopping districts and musical theatres. We came here to watch musicals, and this hotel's location is thus highly convenient for us! We cannot recommend more. On our next visit to London, we will choose this hotel again!

The hotel is located in a very convenient, quiet location. There are many pubs and restaurants nearby. Close to Oxford Street, Soho... The highlight of the hotel is its staff. The people who work at the reception are in their place (we especially want to thank Martina and Vahi - we and our children felt your care during our stay and you made our stay at the hotel even better than we could have expected!) The room had a kettle, tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water daily. Clean in the rooms and throughout the hotel. There is a lift. The interior is beautiful.
