Location of the lodge was great, easy walking distance into Echoland and a snow shuttle bus stop not far from the front door. The lodge is well appointed and the family room is very accommodating. Breakfast was great served in the lounge area which was available for use at any time with complimentary tea/coffee. The owner was so helpful with suggestions and tips prior to our arrival and the staff looking after the lodge were so friendly, very helpful and extremely customer focused. I would highly recommend the lodge.

The pension is absolutely great. The entire family is very friendly and despite them not speaking English and us not knowing more than the polite things in Japanese, they put effort into managing the communication. They are always more than happy to help you with anything. The breakfast is really great, the ski storage room is very practical and you can even do laundry. The room offers everything including a great bathroom to enjoy a hot bath after a day in the snow. There was a lot of snow on one of the days, so we cleared the entrance and the next day discovered that the hosts had cleaned our car from snow. It was a lovely gesture. We were also allowed to leave our luggage in the luggage room after checkout and enjoy one more day of skiing, before picking our things and the car up in the late afternoon.

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights while snowboarding in Hakuba, and it was perfect! Our room and the facilities were always immaculately clean and they supplied us with everything we needed for our stay. It was also in a great location - quiet, yet close to the bus stops, shops, restaurants, etc. However, what made our visit the most memorable were the incredible hosts. They were the sweetest little couple! They were so warm and welcoming, and you could tell how much pride they put into their beautiful Inn. We can't wait to come and stay here again! Next time we will be bringing all of our family and friends too!

Belnina locates in a quite convenient spot of Echoland to access shuttle buses to many ski resorts. The host Taka and his wife were really hospitable and friendly, and they also recommended restaurants and coffee shops when being asked, which were all delicious! I truly had a lovely stay there.

It is the perfect place if you want to experience the Japanese Alps. I came here to go downhill mountainbiking and hiking. The amazing staff at Pension Bonnard greatly helped me in achieving this (offered me rides in the morning and gave me good recommendations for hikes) and really took care to make my stay memorable.

Our visit to Tomato was absolutely incredible! The staff was extremely friendly and service-oriented, making our stay exceptional. The atmosphere was cozy, and we truly felt welcomed. The accommodation was one of the best we have ever experienced. Especially noteworthy is the fantastic onsen, which was truly the cherry on top. A genuine gem among hotel experiences!
