- During our previous visit in August we ordered food using online apps and we saw other guests do the same - but during this visit we were told at the time of check-in that we would not be allowed to order food online / delivery would not be allowed - this came as a surprise and ruined our plans especially because of our allergies & other dietary restrictions - we had no choice but to eat at Sports Cafe everyday (as it was the only reasonable option) - Our 4 year old suffered a deep cut in the Palm Tree kids pool - the pool floor tile was jagged/sharp enough to cut his heel - other parents took their children out of the pool after the incident - We tried to stop our son's blood flow with towels - the lifeguards were clueless about what to do when we alerted them about the injury - they responded with casually talking amongst themselves - they showed no sense of urgency - they were walking casually and aimlessly looking for the first aid kit and when they brought the first aid kit they just opened it and stared at it and didn't know what to do next - we had to take matters into our own hands - We really appreciate the nurse who came (with a heavily bandaged arm) to our room and offered to change our son's dressing - it was sad to learn that the nurse's hand was fractured while she was administering first aid to an another aggressive child (who also had an injury) - Considering that the are potential risks/safety hazards on the property especially for children, there should be a doctor and more nurses on site - Cockroaches came into the room from the garden area (there was large gap between the main door and the floor). - Except for Sports Cafe, the other restaurants at the hotels are unreasonably expensive

- Beautiful green landscapes with plants, trees, bushes and natural-looking waterfalls / springs / fountains - The room & bathroom was spacious - Access to JA beach, pools & kids splash pad and water slides - Sports Cafe had affordable food - The Summer Voucher (AED 200 per night) was used on food

I’ve repeatedly requested the bills that were paid as family members told us they had paid for something and we were other double charged so I’d like to review them all no repsponse . Also no refund went back on to card

The only small thing was the bed pillows was not very comfortable but yet this is passed on our preference.

The resort is amazing for family visits. Great and spacious rooms. Many activities for the family and the kids such the kids club and the kids water park which are small but kids will definitely enjoy there. Theres also multiple swimming pools, small animal farms, golf area, horse riding and more. Amazing staff and quick services. The resort is big and you will need buggy car to quickly move from area to another, however there are plenty of the and the reach you quickly whenever you request one. Special thanks to Hamad for his tactfulness and great service.

We’ve stayed a few times here, we live in Dubai and this feels like getting out of Dubai, we really relax and enjoy the downtime, facilities on site cater for everything

1. Kids club in the convention centre was quite lame. the staff did not seem interested at all 2. The splash pool was nice but very crowded

There were some issues with power outage in the nearby hotel (Beach View Hotel), which caused pools, kids club and kids area to be closed for two days - with no compensation from JA. Also all indoor nearby restaurants was closed due to power outage, which left us with a 10-15 minutes drive to get to an indoor breakfast place - with 3 kids, 40 degrees and humidity above 20% this was not nice at all. I mean, things happen, I trust they did the best they could, but I would have liked them to open the restaurant in the Tree Court as an alternative to Beach View hotel to provide indoor dining options, with the hotel closed. Be aware that the resort is located outside of Dubai, so there is not a lot of food options available nearby, so you will use the resort restaurants a lot - and they are expensive. Consider adding all-inclusive or half-board packages if you are planning to primarily stay within the resort and dine within the resort.

We enjoyed a short summer break-away in JA Resorts during July 2023. The staff (and I mean every single staff) was extremely welcoming and friendly towards the whole stay. We stayed in a ocean view junior suite, which was perfect for our family (2 adults and 3 small children). We asked for a baby cod for our 2 year old, which was also provided by JA without additional charge. The kids club and pool areas are extremely kids and family friendly.

There wasn’t really any entertainment or anywhere to have a drink, as there was only one bar in this hotel.

The staff were excellent and could not do enough for you. They were all about making you comfortable. The food was fantastic. The a la crate options were great. We tried the Tapas, Asian and Replublik restaurants. All excellent.

It was pity to see sometimes empty plactic bottles in the creeks, I was observing the same bottle the whole day in the same place, But it was a small thing compared to the whole great experience

They need to include bookings via booking.com in the members relationship! I have silver one but they said any bookings via booking.com will not be added to your membership and no points earned

I booked 3 garden view suits for my son birthday along with my family members. Everything was nice and perfect but they need to be flexible with their policy. The reception staff needs to be more trained. She acted like sales staff not a receptionist and wanted all of us to book for breakfast though i said we need only 6 ppl for breakfast instead of 10 but she said you need to book for all! I said it is our choice to have breakfast or not then she booked for 6 ppl at the end!
