Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing really to say here. You got everything they offered. Would maybe be nice to have a a small option of snacks but that is really the only improvement.
Friendly helpful staff who were great. Rooms were very clean and the location was in a cool area right in the centre of little Italy/ china town.

United States of AmericaMaybe more fruit in the mornings. Apples or oranges.
The staff is wonderful and very helpful. This was our second time to stay. We had to stay in the penthouse rooms with patio…since all other rooms were full. The noise from the elevator kept us up all night . We did not have that problem when we stayed in the lower rooms. I felt a little less safe with the balcony and roof top right above us. We had someone pound in our door at 1 am …it was a little frightening.

United KingdomThere was bottled water in the room when we arrived which was a nice touch, but would have been nice if it was refreshed.
Great location just next to Chinatown and Little Italy. Room was refreshed daily and was a good size. The shower was amazing! Also left a bottle of Prosecco for my girlfriend's birthday which was very kind.

BelgiumI am into craft beers and not so many craft beer bars around in this area.
Great location for a true "daily" New York life experience. The hotel is located in Little Italy with good Italian restaurants and Italian grocery stores around. Within a short distance of Chinatown, NYC landmarks such as the Oculus, the 9/11 memorial site, and the ferry to the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Islands, and Brooklyn Bridge. This Hotel's rooftop view of New York is highly recommended.

Everything!! The location, the room, super comfortable and everything you need is there. The complimentary coffee and tea is the best and the rooftop view was the nicest surprise

United States of AmericaThe bed sheet has not change as well as the comforter. Why I know I have a dust allergy and I could not sleep the entire night scratching. Actually I forgot to bring my blue ray light flashlight. The noise outside the hotel like the garbage truck, and car honking.
Everything is excellent

FranceOther guests were speaking very loud while waiting for elevators (but hotel can't do anything about that) - rooms are a bit small but very convenient.

United KingdomI suppose a bar facility of some kind would have been nice, given the location and lovely terrace space.
I loved the layout of the rooms - everything had been very cleverly thought out to optimise space. It was also light and airy - a bonus for New York!

United States of AmericaLike just about everything in NYC, somewhat overpriced for what it was, though still a relatively good deal. Also, I was never able to get logged on to the WiFi with the code they gave me.
Loved the location in Little Italy right across the street from Ferrara Bakery and steps away from so many charming Italian restaurants. Convenient to SoHo & China Town, and accessible to several different subway stations. I had a room facing the street, but the windows did a surprisingly good job of blocking out the noise. Modern design with well-utilized space (drawers under the bed, ledges/shelves in bathroom, plenty of hooks for towels or clothes). I also appreciated the amenities provided, including toothbrush and slippers.

United States of AmericaThe staff was attentive and friendly and made us feel right at home. The manager, Morgan, went above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent stay. We loved the king room with balcony, the views, and location- you can really get anywhere quickly with the train and bus access. Or you can enjoy this part of town with all it has to offer!

CyprusIt would be good to have a larger lounging area in the hotel, where we could sit, have a coffee/drink or read especially in between different activities in our programme or while waiting on others getting ready to go out, especially since our room was small to wait around. Roof is nice but it would be good to have an indoor area as well.
The staff was very polite and friendly. Manager Morgan was very kind and helpful about restaurant recommendations, directions and any queations we had. I had an unexpected zoom meeting, Morgan went out of his way to provide me with a suitable environment to have my meeting, which I really appreciated. He and his staff made us feel like we were being taken care of and were in good hands, which we appreciated very much.
