ONSEN RYOKAN Yuen Sapporo features a sauna and a hot spring bath, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in the centre of Sapporo, 1.8 km from Sapporo Station. I especially liked the esthetics and the roomsize I got. They managed to combine a modern look with a traditional Japanese hotel. The free ice cream was amazing.

Everything was amazing at Zaborin. The snow view was beautiful and surreal. Room price included both breakfast and dinner. Unlike some meal inclusive resorts, the food quality here was superior and on par with what you would get at top-tier restaurants. The service is also impeccable. All the staff we met were amazing and epitome of Japanese service.

Situated in Noboribetsu and only 45 km from Lake Toya, Ryotei Hanayura features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Breakfast was a delicious and simple box meal with fresh, grill - it - yourself fish and hot pot, plus a small continental buffet if you want more.

Boasting open-air hot spring baths and ocean views, Wakamatsu Hot Spring Resort is a 15-minute drive from JR Hakodate Station. Free parking is available on site. The dinner and breakfast were absolutely amazing. The food is some of the best Washoku I have had in a long long time. The room had a massive double king bed and a beautiful view of the ocean. The private onsen was also so amazing. Apparently, one of the taxi drivers my partner and I took mentioned that Emperor Hirohito back in Showa 1954 had apparently stayed at this location many years ago. That should pretty much describe how amazing this place is.

Offering affordable Japanese-style accommodations, Mimatsuso Ryokan is a 5-minute drive on the free shuttle from JR Asahikawa Train Station. Lovely staff, great breakfast and the location was perfect. I enjoyed the traditional rooms and the owner made sure we were as comfortable as possible

Featuring 3-star accommodation, Oyado Kinkiyu Annex SUIKAZURA is situated in Teshikaga, 11 km from Lake Kussharo and 13 km from Lake Mashu. Plenty of free parking. The socializing room with free drinks and free snacks is very nice. The Onsen is also much appreciated. There was even an easy to use printer to allow me to easily handle some business.

Offering river views, Suigan is an accommodation set in Jozankei, 32 km from Shin-Sapporo Station and 43 km from Otarushi Zenibako City Center. The staff was very caring. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Access to free drinks and snacks. The food was delicious.
