As part of the Vila Porto Mare resort, this hotel offers 4 restaurants, 6 bars and 5 swimming pools. Porto Mare features an extensive tropical garden on the Atlantic oceanfront. Great hotel, friendly staff and good food. Pools are are great and the gardens beautiful. Very nice experience provided.

In the evening the sound od waves is the only thin one hears. Self service buffet breakfast was great, there is a lot of choises. When weather was good, you can eat on the terrace. And semi circular room gives beautiful views of the ocean and cliffs near Funchal. Would come again!

Comfort, spacious room, cleanliness, quiet, very friendly and competent staff. Varied buffet breakfast, for all tastes, with quality dishes. Dinner was a very pleasant surprise, buffet style, with a different theme for each evening, again great quality and diversity. The idea of ​​the voucher for four dinners with a discount is very inspiring. A tip for those who want to make a reservation: opt for the room with a full view of the ocean. You won t regret!
