Maybe the best bed ever. all the amenities were perfect as was the hospitality from our host Paul who was knowledgeable of local activities and restaurants. We would be delighted to come back. Lovely and interesting town. We could not have asked for more. The personal service of a cooked breakfast in the company of other travellers was just the icing on the cake.

Stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time. Only 15 minutes drive to shopping center (Frankton), 20 minutes to queenstown. Room was perfect. Breakfast was perfect. There are other acitivites available like wine taste and outside hot tub. Queenstown was too crowded in my opinion but staying here you can enjoy the peaceful view of countryside while still have convenience to everything you need for your holiday. Great value for money. Will definitely recommend.

Guests at the lodge can enjoy fishing nearby, or make the most of the garden. Such a lovely location. We stayed in a building away from the main house but we went to the house for breakfast in the morning. Peter was a very good host and lent us (together with another two couples staying there) his car to drive into town to have dinner at the pub. Peter made fresh bread for breakfast which was delicious. Wifi was available at the house and surrounds but I'm not sure about where we were staying - we didn't try, we were happy just to soak up the beautiful countyside.

The rugged mountains, peaceful river and Wanaka Lake with spectacular views are awesome. The architecturally designed with river stone and interior appeal are amazing. This is unforgettable retreat for us .

Inverlair Lodge offers a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with free toiletries, a hairdryer and shower. The hosts were fabulous (Thanks Roger & Fleur!!). The facilities were fabulous. Location was great, especially if you're looking to relax and just chill. Hot tub in the late evening is just awe inspiring.

"The Lodge" (or Top House) - a restored character 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home: free wi-fi. cosy woodburner. heatpump, sunny conservatory, clawfoot bath. BBQ, full kitchen and laundry for self catering. Sleeps up to 9, so is ideal for larger families and groups of friends. All linen supplied. What an absolutely beautiful setting. The house is nestled in the fields and lots of curious sheep to watch over you. We loved it, we had everything that you would expect with so much old world charm.
