At the motel each room is fitted with bed linen and towels. What a find! We really enjoyed our stay at Goldfield Suites and our interactions with the hosts, Jolene and Andrew. The unit was very spacious and comfortable. It was furnished and provisioned to a much higher level than one typically gets in a rental unit. For example, there was a horizontal electric fireplace and two comfy quality leather chairs in the living room. The bathroom was very well appointed. We opted for the dinner option and were really pleased with the meal and congenial conversation with the hosts and other guests in a lovely outdoor facility. The hosts also provided lots of valuable information about local attractions and facilities.

It looks like you are pulling into someone's home, but the motel is hidden behind. The room was large and lovely with a full kitchen, and even had a jacuzzi. The beds were super comfortable. The town of Hokatika is a seaside gem with beach walks and colorful rocks. The town is small enough to walk about, but large enough to have all the services available and interesting shops.

Bathroom was spotless and so modern.

The inn is also a short walk to some restaurants and new world supermarket. highly recommended, will be back too!
