Our cosy double room was very comfortable with attractive traditional-meets-modern decor. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very well organised making us feel looked after on a busy Christmas Eve. The exceptional part of our stay was the dinner (not included in the room price of course) which was superb and something we would return for.

The Greyhound is a wonderful place with a lot of history and idiosyncracies. The accomodation is to a high standard but I would advise checking out the rooms before you book for size and also for function. Foodwise they have an interesting menu that changes frequently and everything was well cooked and delicious. What truly moves the bar upwards on the Greyhound is the staff - I don't think I have been in a place recently where the staff were as friendly and helpful.

The service is top-notch, with friendly staff who go above and beyond. A perfect countryside escape with exceptional dining!

Situated in the picturesque village of Inkpen, the Crown and Garter is a traditional English pub with stylish rooms, a restaurant and bakery. It opens onto a lovely garden. Amazing inn refurbished to a very high standard. The beds were super comfortable and I loved their courtyard. The entire place was beautiful and I could spend hours just sitting there. Food was great the inn - delicious and well cooked. However it would be good to add more options to the breakfast.

This is a hidden gem and to date the best country inn we have stayed at. So beautifully extended and decorated in keeping with the original building. Our room was beautiful and so comfortable. The breakfast was excellent served by the friendliest staff. We have already booked our next visit.
