The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was modern and vibrant. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Santo Domingo, and I will absolutely be staying here again!

The reception guys were so great, the waiters at the restaurant of the hotel are very friendly. English speakers which is not that common in Dominican Republic. Food is nice and the hotel itself is like in the middle of paradise. Very private and chill. The rooms are very good and quiet. Would definitely recommend to stay here, fair price in my opinion for the stay and the services (Jakuzi and meals). They even have like a small garage and helped us with our car which had a problem. Amazing staff members and place. Thank you so much 🙏🏼🫶

You can take a coffee during the day, use snorkeling gear, there are books and magazines to read, ... everything is foreseen. We can only recommend this place.

The view from the balcony is on the pool and sea. Location 2 min from the beach and all restaurants. However, the hotel restaurant is nice with amazing food selections. Fairly big and bustling, but not overwhelming. Not as quaint as some of the more rural towns but good for getting a taste of Barbados as ŵell as having contemporary malls and shops you could find at home. Pretty easy to find your way around. The banks move at a decent pace compared to some Caribbean islands! I travelled solo but met up with friends while there so not entirely on my own this trip. Street sellers are friendly and eager but respectful enough if you don't want to buy! I was most grateful for this! They like to joke and laugh and banter so don't seem to be offended or get rude if you're not interested in making a purchase.

Great beach, lots of historical places. However the lack of resorts with all inclusive amenities make it less appealing than the other Caribbean islands with same great beaches

Probably one of the top 5 beaches in the world with incredibly nice people, all of the modern amenities you need and great food. Really I could not imagine a better beach experience and I have been to most of the Caribbean islands and multiple beaches in Mexico and Central America. The Landing is a good restaurant in Grace Bay and if possible I would recommend renting a car so you can visit some of the other beaches, try different restaurants, etc. For hotel I love the hotel Villa Del Mar.

Soufriere is a traditional small Caribbean town - very laid back - and is much nicer than the top end of St Lucia (Rodney Bay, Gros Islet etc). The top end is now over-developed and suffering from the impact of cruise ships and all-inclusive resorts. Marigot Bay is ok out of season but rammed during the peak season. Having spent more than a year in total visiting 20 plus Caribbean islands I would happily re-visit Soufriere, and anywhere to the south, but would never go back to the Rodney Bay or Gros Islet areas.

As residents on the island, we visit the west coast ofter because we love this region. It was our first time in the hotel and we loved it in total. Beautiful surroundings and very well cared for. The room was spacious and comfortable. Cozy beds and pillows and good layout. The bathroom was big and the shower was amazingly good. Very clean and even the bathroom products were good. The restaurant is very good and the service is wonderful. What we like the most is the tranquility. The pool is fabulous and it is in an amazing spot that you can spend the whole day there and then watch the beautiful sunsets of the west coast of Puerto Rico. Really good for a getaway with your partner! We are definitely coming back.
