We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

France-Very unfriendly welcome by Frank at reception, very annoying double wait, Frank even got angry for no reason under the pretext that he only spoke German and especially not French, we nevertheless made the effort to speak in English ! -Apart from good fresh fruit, the dinner desserts leave something to be desired, the pastries have little taste.
-very good location close to the airport (for airport-hotel transfer and plane spotting at the beach), a very nice beach and ideal location for excursions -large and pleasant apartment, quiet and neat environment - hearty buffet for breakfast and dinner -staff generally friendly, especially the waiters in the restaurant.

IrelandThere is no air cons in the rooms. During our stay this was okay but the middle of summer would be very warm.
The apartments are super big and clean. The two pools on the property provided a nice area to stay at the bar and also the lower pool which is more quiet. The staff were super helpful and also provided us with a curtesy room to freshing up after we checked out before heading to the airport.

United KingdomPool foor was broken and bits missing so cut my foot on the broken bits so this need urgent attention. Loads of ants in the apartments. USB sockets didn't work. The shop onsite is very expensive.
We liked the modern decor in the apartments. The washing machine facilities were good. Over good value for money. Tv had English channels. Good size balcony. We asked for a pool view which we got. Cleaning staff were great really hardworking. Place was spotless.

United KingdomThe breakfast was good but myself and my girlfriend ending up having a lot of meals out because the buffet was boring and repetitive and wasn’t the best quality. The rooms don’t have air conditioning but I slept fine and didn’t find this to be a problem as the rooms were cool (we went in November where it was about 23-28°C). Not sure if this would be worse in the summer months I would’ve preferred WiFi to be included too
Loved our stay here. We went all inclusive and it was excellent value for money - the room was massive with a lovely bathroom and balcony and the location was brilliant too, a very short drive from the airport, 10 min walk to the beach and not too far from Puerto del Carmen either (only 5-6 euros in a taxi) There was a very wide range of all inclusive drinks including cocktails and lots of spirits. The vodka was only 25% but couldn’t complain given how strong they pour them The animation team in the evening were brilliant and they had lots of entertainment on including bingo, African dance and a laser show The staff were all nice, some friendlier than others but none of them were unpleasant. It was my birthday on one day and when we came back from our day out we found they’d put a bottle of rosé in the room which was very kind of them There are 2 pools, one of them was next to the bar - both were a good temperature and lots of sun loungers I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others, and was very impressed for a 3 star hotel

NetherlandsWe missed airconditioning in the rooms, there were some cracks in tiles in the outdoor area but it also seemed like renovation was in progress.
Friendly staff, great location if you have a car to visit the main attractions on Lanzarote, supermarkets and restaurants at walking distance, the food was pretty good for the price, you could always find something to eat. The rooms, restaurant and pool area were beautifully designed. Nice and spacious balcony in the room.

IrelandThe nightly entertainment really isn't very good.We have been coming here for years and to be honest it always has been poor. Also there were always chairs to sit on outside the restaurant underneath the shade of a lovely tree but these have been removed since we were last there. We missed them alot on this trip as a few days were extremely hot and it would have been nice to chill out in the shade. However The Morromar imo is the best value for money in Matagorda and these few small things definitely will not stop us from returning in the future.
The Apartment was spacious with a lovely sea view. The food was good.Always something to eat.The location was good.About five minutes walk to promenade and shops and a taxi rank outside back gate. Also five minutes walk to bus stop.

United KingdomI didn't like the staff I met the first day as he wasn't helpful. I asked him where I could get an adaptor and he said he didn't know, whereas there was a shopping centre that was 2 minutes away from the hotel. I asked other visitor and they showed me the place.
It was a relaxing environment with a beautiful view. I like the apartment, it is so clean and the staff are really helpful.

United KingdomHousekeeping very poor. Stayed 5 days and had Housekeeping once, only after we requested it. Quite a few electrical fixtures were broken in our apartment. Entertainment quite poor and kids Entertainment went on until 9.30pm - 10pm which I personally think is too late.
Location is excellent. Food was surprisingly good and apartments quite acceptable. Very good value for money. Restaurant is nice and bar serves a good variety of cocktails etc.

United KingdomWe had our bag stolen in the restaurant and all the staff we told (even the reception staff) absolutely disregarded us, some even just shrugged their shoulders. The reception staff pretended he couldn’t understand our issue even though he previously spoken good English so we had to use Google translate. There was 0 effort made to see if the bag had been handed in and this whole situation made us feel really unsafe that they didn’t seem to care or even have any CCTV cameras to check who had stolen it. We were also concerned there was no incident or log book to report the incident. Another thing, It states the Gym is open 8am - 12 midday. However, on 3 occasions I went there around 10am and the place was completely closed and when I asked nearby staff what time it’s open, again, they completely disregarded me and just said they don’t know and shrugged their shoulders. The reception staff tried to help but it just seemed like the Gym is poorly managed and never opened.
We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the food was! It’s not like your usual all inclusive with mainly processed food. There were 4/5 freshly served dishes every lunch and dinner with a good variety through the week. The entertainment staff were lovely especially the 2 young girls, they were the life of the party each day haha. The entertainment on a whole was okay but the nighttime entertainment was mainly kids stuff and the adults got a bit from 10pm - 11pm. When it hits 11pm the place goes absolutely dead, everyone disappears and kick out is at 11:45pm. The all inclusive drinks menu is well enough to keep you going through the week. There are about 20 different spirits and liqueurs to pick from and 6 cocktails. Also, the all inclusive beer is not a local it’s Amstel which was a plus! The 2 pools were perfect sized for the hotel and never overcrowded. The hotel is about €12 in a taxi from the Airport - very close. Also, just for reassurance to anyone booking, our apartment looked exactly like the pictures and had an iron + hairdryer. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel but was heavily let down by the way staff disregarded any issues we had. We’re not sure if this is because we are a young couple and they treated us differently. All the younger staff on the premises were very polite and good at their job but some of the older staff just seemed really impatient with tourists.

United KingdomThe fridge had been left open and had leaked, easy enough to mop up but had some broken parts in the door so it didn't seem to seal completely and little flies got in there. Am sure if we'd told reception they would of sorted but wasn't a big deal.
It was clean, nice sized room, bathroom was a good size, kitchen was ok. Loved the cats that lived on site, just mooching around. Reception staff very friendly when arrived (late because of flight delay)

IrelandPool was cold, rooms not cleaned some days so had to go reception for towels. These are not complaints to be fair, i enjoyed the stay and as i said i would go back again. Only writing this as a reference for possible room for improvements but it wouldn't put us off coming back.
Staff where very friendly and helpful. The complex itself is basic but kept well, kids loved it and thought it was 6 star hotel. Entertainment at night kept us busy which wasn't the best some nights but i didn't expect Whitney Houston to come on stage. Went for a week and i wouldn't hesitate to go back.

United KingdomA few of the older staff members were incredibly rude even though I spoke in Spanish, they were incredibly dismissive of any questions I had, as if it was always a chore to help The lack of allowed late checkout effected us as a family as our flight is at 8pm and checkout being at 12
While the food selection wasn't exactly mind blowing, it was all very tasty and we always had something to eat The activities were all very interesting and the family day was especially great! Lastly; the cleaners were all awesome! They consistently left small notes for our daughter on her drawing pad which she thought was the highlight of the holiday
