United StatesThe downside was that rooms need more sound proofing, we heard everything above us. Hotel overrall needs some renovations. Food is ok, not extremely good. We went to the steakhouse restaurant and it was nothing special. Reservations for restaurants were also hard to find. Entertainment programs have been better at other all inclusive hotels we have stayed at.
Rooms were comfortable, bed was good and bathroom big and clean. Shades smelled weird, seemed like they needed cleaning. Pool was always kept really clean and we really liked that. Location is good, very central in Playa Del Carmen.

IrelandTHE FOOD! Really poor selection and poor quality. Was sick for 4 days following an undercooked burger. Restaurant times and attire was just frustrating. You couldn’t order food and eat it near the main pool and the restaurant located there did not let you in with swim gear, so you would have to go and get changed in order to eat. A bbq was offered every day at the pool but after the first burger experience I was not eating again. Seems as though staff don’t have correct food hygiene training. As one of the staff used the pool water in the bamburi to keep the burgers warm! Also WiFi was temperamental
The overall hotel and grounds were lovely, loved the wild animals around and that the properties were already out. You could get golf carts to bring you between buildings, but was nice to walk. The pool was lovely and bars too. Most of the staff could not do enough for you and very friendly

AustraliaRoom was comfy, a little bit round down in terms of instalations, like there wasn't any carpet or good floors so the car with the clean stuff was quite noisy and wake us up. Also we didn't like the fact there wasn't any place with shade to stay around the pool, and we struggle to get a place at all.
Food was quite good, and the entertainment in the pool was good too.

CanadaThe beach is nice as long as you don’t go in the water, the sand in the water is all mushy and disgusting, absolutely not swimmable. Also there were not enough loungers/chairs around the pools. It was impossible to find empty loungers past 9am, you have to wake up at 6am to go put your towels to reserve your loungers if you want to lay there comfortably for the day.
The evening entertainment/shows were spectacular.

Costa RicaIt needs serious maintenance all around. The access road needs a new concrete slab, the reception needs URGENT drywall repairs from water damage, the AC in the main hall was not working AT ALL (34C 95F temps!!!) and the AC in our rooms just barely kept it confortable.
The pool area was magnificent. Maybe it needs a few more shaded areas for when its very busy. Also the site has a very agreeable layout for taking leisure strolls.
