Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesNothing we did not like - however something to keep in mind for some guests: we barely had any internet in our room, so definitely not a place for remote work or movie streaming. But since in general there's no t much service in the island as far as we experienced i'd say it is the perfect time and place to disconnect 😉
We LOVED our time there! Staff is so kind, helpful and smiling - right away this makes you smile! The setting is perfect, beautiful architecture with authentic feel, surrounded by vegetation. Perfect relaxing vibe. The beach club is right down the small "block" (200m?) and so peaceful with everything you need there: good food, drinks, service, lounge beds... I liked the rooms, felt like you have your own little cabin and it is useful to have a kitchen and fridge. The kids loved that hotel, we could let them play in the pool, ping pong, swings on the roof top terrasses. The front desk would even lend them beach toys to use when at the beach club. Also provided towels for us to use there. Breakfast was delicious with delightful service. You have everything you need there! Then it's a nice little walk to go to the town center and beach there. Or you can rent bikes from the hotel for the day, and it's a beautiful ride on the island. So perfect!

United KingdomIn our kids' room ('Apartment - Kitchenette and Garden View (4 people)') it would have been great to have air con in both the bedroom areas, as there was only air con in the main bedroom but this didn't reach the other bed area.
Our room was fantastic (Master Suite King Bed with Partial Ocean View and Balcony) - super view, and really spacious, so we could invite our kids up to sit as a family and eat a meal, play cards etc. at the table. The staff on reception were fantastic - always ready and keen to help, and very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. The breakfast team were lovely too - so helpful and friendly. The facilities were great, but at the time we visited (late August) there were lots of mosquitos in Holbox so we didn't make the most of them - there were fewer mosquitos by the sea, so we often swam there instead. All areas of the hotel felt super clean, and you could always see a member of staff keeping the communal areas clean. La Cabane pizzas are top notch (better than we had during our stay in NYC a few days before!), and it was so convenient to have them just next door, so that we could pick up a pizza after a busy day exploring. We booked a whale shark tour through the hotel, really easy, great communication and a fantastic experience

NetherlandsThe beach at Corolinda beach club is on the small side.
Very friendly and helpful staff. We loved our room with small kitchen and fridge. Swimming pool was a big favourite especially for our 8 year old. Very happy to spend 5 days here. The nearby Italian/Pizzaria was very good.

NorwayThe hotel was clean, quiet and the stuff very kind. We liked that Ensueño is slightly outside the center and have quiet areas to relax. The outside areas are spacious and green. The beach club is also just a few minutes walking and it was very nice. We visited in low season, so it was very easy to find a spot. We enjoyed our stay!

IsraelDuring our stay there were constructions next to the beach club, it happens all around the island and not the hotel fault or responsibility, the constructions shut down by the government so we had 2 days on the beach, there are other beaches around so don't worry about that, just be aware it can happen.
The location was great to us, far from the center, very quiet and chill vibes. No TV no music at all, so good for just relaxation (if you want something else, look somewhere else). All the staff was kind and warm, Hanna helped us a lot in the front desk and we had great conversations with her, thank you! The beach club is AMAZING!! Great food and cocktails, reasonable prices, great service. We god great room a lot of privacy. Can not recommend enough.

SlovakiaWhile the breakfast was always fresh and delicious, the selection remained the same every day (pancakes, fruit, yogurt, and toast). For shorter stays, this is fine, but for longer visits, it can feel repetitive. The hotel would also benefit from having a bar or at least a small selection of snacks and drinks available at the reception, like beer, coffee, or light refreshments. We stayed during a windy period, which brought some challenges. Our room had a wall made of wood with small gaps, and the windows had similar gaps, so there was a constant draft. This made the room a bit chilly during the cooler evenings. Additionally, the wind caused the windows and doors to bang frequently, which was somewhat disruptive. However, I believe this wouldn’t be an issue in calm or sunny weather.
The hotel is simply stunning – it truly took our breath away. It has a beautiful, exotic beach vibe that immediately puts you in vacation mode. The staff were exceptionally friendly, with special thanks to Hanna at the reception. She was incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more memorable. The rest of the team was also fantastic, always making us feel welcome and special. The hotel has two pools, both set in gorgeous surroundings, and the views from the terraces are absolutely spectacular. Our room was beautiful and spotless, cleaned daily, and the small kitchenette was a great bonus for our stay. The location of the hotel is excellent – peaceful yet conveniently close to the town center and the harbor. The staff were always happy to help arrange transportation or book local activities. Additionally, the beach club is just a few steps away, which made it very easy to enjoy the seaside.

United KingdomRoom - we were in room 10, which was underneath one of the communal rooftops. As there were plenty of communal spaces, this wasn’t used often but the sounds of the chairs moving in the wind/by people could be heard quite loudly in our room. A simple fix for this could be to place rubber covers on the chair/table legs.
Friendly staff - Host/owner, receptionists and breakfast lady always welcoming and super helpful with any requests we had. Room - spacious and very clean. Location - close to the beach and a 20 min walk into the centre, which although slightly long, made for a nice walk along the beach in the evenings. Breakfast - 3 simple options but really enjoyable and you can get all 3 if you’re hungry! Free drinking water - a small addition but one we really appreciated! Pool area - decent size main pool and a rooftop pool option.

GermanyOur kitchen didn’t have a fridge or a coffee machine - the only gadgets we‘d have really liked. And the wifi is not very stable.
The quiet location away from the village but close to the beach. Loved the hotel‘s beach club! All the staff was super-friendly, we could also book a whale shark tour through them. The hotel is so cute and exotic, just loved the style. A lot of people wrote that they found the rooms too dark - I disagree. Our apartment #6 with king bed and kitchen had a lot of windows and lamps. And the walk to the village along the beach is easily done in 15-20 minutes, even in the dark. Would defenitely stay here again!

United KingdomA little more storage for clothes would have been great but the room was so big it didn’t really bother us.
This is a beautiful property, with a fabulous pool and outside area. We had a family room which was spacious with a good en-suite and powerful shower. We also had seating and a hammock on the verandah outside our room but we didn’t tend to use them as this sheltered spot seemed to be where the mossies gathered. There were other places to relax in the hotel grounds so this didn’t bother us. The children enjoyed seeing the turtles and iguanas. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful, coffee, juice, pancakes, toast and fresh fruit, granola and yoghurt, all served in a delightful area of the garden by very friendly staff. The beach club was great, very relaxed vibe with loungers, and seating areas both in and out of shade and the beach and sea was very clean. An easy walk along the beach to town - 20 mins approx. This was our favourite spot on our Mexican road trip, a little piece of heaven.

NetherlandsSuper friendly staff, very helpful even outside of hotel related questions. Pool is incredible and go check out their turtles 🐢 ! The breakfast is tasty, you can choose multiple options and they serve it super efficient and fast, with a smile :) Right outside the hotel is a little store with basic needs, a super nice pizzeria and a taqueria with delicious Mexican cuisine!

IrelandNothing, it was great!
The room was fantastic, great air con, had a fridge which was useful for keeping drinks cold. Pool was fab, a haven. Right beside the beach with their own beach club with discounts for guests of Ensueno. Staff were so helpful, advising us of where to see Bioiluminescence without paying for a tour. Rented bikes and golf bugging through hotel with ease. Breakfast was great.

DenmarkThe internet is not super stable but it works.
A nice clean hotel in the quiet end of Holbox. We were really happy with the beach club and the pool area. The complimentary drinks in the beach club were super good. The breakfast was also fine for our needs although it is not a buffet. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to town and we would recommend that you take the beach there because the streets are muddy and quite dirty. Also remember to bring a small supply of water and food as there are no shops around. The staff in the hotel is really nice, friendly and laidback.

Czech RepublicThe stream of the shower was a bit weak, which made it difficult to wash my long hair. Wi-Fi is also quite bad.
Nice comfy rooms with balcony. There are two pools available (one on the rooftop of the hotel, very nice at sunsets ❤️). People on reception were kind and helpful. There were three options for breakfast, same every day (we stayed for 3 nights) but quite good. Overall the place is very beautiful, close to the beach and has its own beach club (where you get a welcome drink for free).
