When you read comments about the music being loud, do not assume it is just music in the background…. It sounds and feels like you are in the middle of a nightclub/stadium. If you are a light sleeper or have children, this will be a big issue for you.

Perfect location! Right in the middle of the party zone, and although music next door is incredibly loud the location is great. It is great having beach beds included and the staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating.

Just next to it is a beach bar with loud music during the day that can be annoying when the bas is too strong. The food in the restaurant is not something to recommend.

There’s a strong smell in the bathroom that should be checked, saw a rat running around the palapa roof and some cockroaches in the bathroom and room. I know it’s a jungle place but I’m sure there is something to do about it.

Location is very convenient for people traveling to tulum who also enjoy nightlife.

Not the hotel’s fault and beyond their control, but there is now a beach club next door that played loud music until 1 am. But, this is located in the Party Zone. So we dealt with it and still had a great vacation here!!

the receptionist always tried to fool us and charge us extra for self-organized trips. bedroom was not clean properly (bathroom in particular and terrace), shower leaked water, sink water and shower water were salty. they provide you with bottles to brush your teeth but the first day one of the two bottles had been already opened, used and filled again with dirty water.

our room was right next to the front office in the “ garden” area. The room appeared clean but the Lighting was ambient but insufficient to read by. The property next door had loud, booming music blaring from 9:00 am til 1:00 am. Could not stay again because if the noise.

beachfront . Rubin at the front desk is a gem and Las Estrella’s is lucky to have him. He’s knowledgeable and eager to assist customers. The beach and restaurant staff are wonderful . The coffee is excellent.

Gardens are pretty, but facilities need renovation. A/C only worked on occasion, shower kept malfunctioning/running at night, door lock and safe were broken when we arrived. Night club next door shook the room until 2am each night.

Even though it is advertised as located in the party zone I don’t think I appreciated just HOW LOUD the music is. Because of jet lag I have been getting up early and going to bed early which isn’t conducive to staying at this hotel. The bassline from surrounding bars and clubs was so loud it vibrated the bed and kept me awake. Some of the features around the hotel looked a bit tired and could do with a lick of paint. The room floors were never mopped only swept meaning I always kept my flip flops on. There was a weird smell of sulphur / egg in the bathroom which was off putting.

The hotel was lovely and bohemian with lots of unique features. I have never stayed anywhere like it! I was very lucky with the room I was assigned as it had the biggest balcony. I loved the size of the bed too! We loved the staff who were so accommodating and friendly. They looked after us so well. Loved the toiletries on offer too.

I don’t mind music but it was the same beat. It wasn’t a music you are able to dance or to party it was just a hard heavy metal. If that’s your type of music that’s your place but for us it was not.

The front desk and staffs were all awesome! There was seaweed and they were one of the only hotel to that cleaned! The beach was steps from the hotel. Perfect!

The hotel is right next to a beach club, and the room we stayed in would vibrate with the music. While not so bad during the day, if you were looking for peaceful evening, then you would be disappointed. Also, probably not a fault of the hotel, but the tap water tasted and felt like salt water, this was also the case in other places in Tulum.

The reception staff were really great and were very responsive to requests. The hotel is located right in the heart of the party zone, so if that's what you are looking for, then this is great. The ground of the hotel are really nice, and can be very peaceful when quiet.

- Humid, smelly and dark room - Impossible to sleep in such a cave - A friend in another room had bed bugs - All rooms are very smelly based on discussions with other guests - Super expensive for such a bad room - Not enough sunchairs for the number of guests in the hotel - Service at the restaurant is awful, not enough personnel After discussion with the receptionist and manager, they accepted to cancel and refund, which needed to happen through Booking. I found another hotel and did cancel but now they refuse the refund.
