The new owners must have spent a fortune on the re-furb of this lovely period hotel. My room (the themed Whisky room) was large with a new, clean and well stocked en suite shower room. The shower was powerful. The bath towels were large. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows huge, and just the fight combination of soft and supportive. Breakfast selection was just right and delicious. The staff could not have been more engaging and efficient. The location is just out of the town centre so no traffic noise. I would definitely return.

The apartment is spacious and has everything you need. Lovely and clean and cosy! We enjoyed the location and enjoyed opening the patio doors in the living room and having a morning cuppa on the balcony, watching the world go by. Even in Feb! Lovely little find!

Perfect base for exploring Ayrshire and Scotland in general. Close to the beach, town, arcade, restaurants, fields, golf...list goes on. The apartment itself has stunning views and huge high ceiling rooms. Only downside would be the stairs if you are less able, but not an issue for us. The owners are really amendable and on hand for any questions or issues via WhatsApp, phone or email. This was our second time here and wouldn't hesitate to book again!

We really felt very comfortable and at home in this hotel. The restaurant meals were excellent and we really enjoyed our breakfast. The room was small but very comfortable.
