Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThis charming, elegant boutique hotel is located in the Latin Quarter of Paris, a convenient three blocks walk to Notre Dame Cathedral. It is located on a street and in an area with many quaint shops, restaurants and outdoor cafes that typify the romance of Paris. We loved the hotel, their gracious, accommodating staff and its convenient location in the Latin Quarter. We highly recommend this hotel.

United KingdomNot enough staff in the restaurant for breakfast, it was only one girl who tried to do the best, but it is too much for one person, the hotel should have at least 2 people

FinlandThe mattress tended to slip on the bed a bit, and there were no instructions for the air conditioning. But these are small things.
The location is great, the room was very clean and efficiently designed, the staff were very helpful. It was very nice to have a kettle in the room, and the luggage room where they actually tagged your luggage and made sure you got your own.

United StatesThe air conditioner really didn’t cool the room down to a comfortable temperature, so we slept with the large double window open during the night! It did a wonderful job of cooling the room down, but I had to shut it around 3:00 AM due to the 50 degree temps over night! Lol…
Quaint, older hotel that exudes French charm. Our room was on the top floor of the hotel, and was a unique “L-shaped” design (quirky, but lovable!). Pocket doors; angled roof lines; skylights which gave a view of Notre Dame in the distance, etc. It was truly unique, and a wonderful experience when compared with the typical hotel room!

TurkeyOnly the breakfast was too weak and must be improved.
Great location, safe and vivid neighborhood, clean room so I’ll definitely stay again. The metro is 2 min away and Notre Dame Cathedral is 6 min away by walking.

RomaniaWe had a street window and it was a bit noisy, especially early in the morning when the garbage truck came by.
Excellent location, walking distance to many tourist attractions, friendly and accommodating staff, comfortable bed. I stayed for one night with my son and it was a very good choice. The breakfast was pretty good and convenient, staff always polite and with a smile on their faces. The price was quite high, but that is the case for all accommodations in Paris, not specific to this hotel.

ItalyAs for minor drawbacks, the elevator is quite small, but that’s understandable given the age and character of the building. Some details, like parts of the wood paneling (boiserie), could benefit from a bit of restoration, but overall, these are very minor points.
The hotel is full of Parisian charm — the entrance is adorable, and the interiors, including the beautiful spiral staircase connecting the floors, create a lovely, authentic atmosphere. The staff at the reception were very polite and welcoming. Breakfast didn’t offer a huge variety, but everything served was of excellent quality, which for me is the most important aspect. Also, I have to mention that the bed was perhaps the most comfortable I have ever slept in at a hotel — truly exceptional.
