Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

It's an iconic building, it's really cool to stay here and come back as many times as it is possible. The rooms are very comfortable and the food is great.

Saudi ArabiaDespite the calm neighborhood that is full of green scenery and the close proximity to Parc Des Princes and Stade Roland Garros, hotel's location is considered relatively far from Paris main attractions. Breakfast buffet was with limited options for a 5-star resort. Room service had small menu
Historical idea behind the hotel and its design are attractive. Staff was great and supportive. Room service was quick

FranceOne single chair in the room... I'd love to know how two persons are supposed to eat breakfast in their room. In turn?
Everything was perfect: Art Deco atmosphere, friendly staff, comfortable bed, great breakfast and fantastic swimming pools. The hotel building is unique and has a fascinating history. Excellent experience!

FranceThe feature of this hotel is its historic Art Deco swimming pool (indoors and outdoors) which has a long history in Paris - and the view from our room of the pool had the wow factor. We both swam. We were there for a special occasion and the hotel took note of this and added some really nice touches. In addition, my wife particularly liked the Clarins products in the bathroom. We booked this hotel as a treat, it is not cheap but it did not disappoint. We also enjoyed the rooftop restaurant and bar which has a great range of cocktails and drinks, a lovely ambience and great young staff.

United KingdomThere was only one partially openable window.
The pools were astounding. Quiet too. It didn’t feel like Paris and yet the centre wasn’t far. The rooms are beautifully designed. The staff were amazing, so welcoming and helpful.

BrazilDifference from staff hospitality. While some staff members made me feel welcome, such as Aurora (from the club), Angelo (reception), Clarysse and Medoune (customer service), others from the reception, pool and club diplayed a snobbish attitude, not greeting or even displaying impatience while communicating with us (as if talking to the hotel guest was a favour and not part of their jobs)
Hotel infrastructure. Great pool, gym, comfortable bed and silent room.

GermanyNot perfect for touristy visits of Paris, as the hotel is located a bit far off the city centre and there is no convenient public transport closeby (nearest metro station within 10 minutes walking distance). Given the room rate, at least a bottle of water should have been provided for free.
Absolutely worth a try if you like to swim after a long day of visiting Paris (two really big and well kept swimming pools) and if you appreciate a touch of historic design in a totally modernized environment. I found it quite cool and really enjoyed my stay! Also, staff are very kind and friendly. Breakfast is nice and not overpriced. Overall, correct value for money, considering that this is Paris.

United KingdomWe felt let down this time about our experience in the poolside restaurant. Food was poor, bland and expensive - we had a tomato pasta dish and the house burger. The staff there (one girl in particular) was rude and unhelpful. She seemed to practically throw our food on the table. In the roof top restaurant we feel there could be more choice of food.
We love the quirkyness of the hotel and the pool. The staff on the front desk and cleaning staff are polite and can't do enough to help. The room is clean and comfortable This is the third time we have visited and we would come back The food at breakfast is exceptional as are the staff
