“The best thing about this Pod is its location, with a walk distance from many of Manhattan's top spots and close to some of the city's best attractions. There is also a subway station only one block away, which makes moving around the city and even to the airports very easy. The room is incredibly small but nonetheless has a decent bed and bathroom.”
“Excellent location for tourism. Friendly and helpful staff made the stay generally comfortable. Inclusion of breakfast made a good start to every day, with provision catering for a range of tastes.”
“I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my disappointment with the breakfast service provided at your hotel during my recent stay.
While I understand that dietary preferences vary among guests, I was disheartened to find that the breakfast options offered were not inclusive of all dietary restrictions. Specifically, as someone who does not consume pork for religious reasons, I was unable to find suitable alternatives. Despite politely requesting a regular omelet, I was met with refusal from the staff, which made me feel disregarded and disrespected.
Furthermore, when I brought this issue to the attention of the front desk, I was informed that the eggs were finished, leaving me without any viable options. As a frequent traveler, I believe that hotels should strive to accommodate the diverse needs of their guests, including providing adequate food options for individuals with varying dietary requirements.
I kindly urge you to address this matter to ensure that future guests do not encounter similar challenges. Enhancing the breakfast offerings to cater to a wider range of dietary preferences would greatly improve the overall guest experience and reflect positively on your establishment.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I trust that you will take the necessary steps to rectify the situation promptly.”
“Lovely house with nice big rooms and bathrooms. The house has a Southern feel to it, is beautifully furnished and kept in pristine condition. It feels like “coming home” not going to a hotel. Because of the weather, we couldn’t use the pool or fire pit, unfortunately. For those reasons, we would highly recommend to stay more than one night.”
“The best thing is its location - it's very convenient to get to all the attractions we wanted to go to, quite some on foot, and others by subway or bus. Loved being able to walk to Times Square twice, Empire State Building, Hudson Yards Edge, Bryant Park and so on. We were also happy to find out that we could take the Airport Express bus not far from the hotel directly to Newark Liberty International Airport. Second, the staff was very friendly and ready to help whenever asked. The room was kept clean daily. Third, the breakfast actually exceeded our expectations with a lot of fruit and quite some varieties. We also loved the icemaker and ice water provided on each floor and the hot water available 24 hours on the first floor for making tea and hot chocolate.”
